The public are filming your staff (30 minutes)

Nearly everyone carries around a sophisticated recording device that can capture sound and images to cinematic quality, and they can record you without your knowledge with a couple of clicks. Some people do make use of cameras and microphones, but most people just whip out their phones and click ‘record’.

What do you do if this happens to your staff or colleagues? Do you have any rights? Can you stop them from doing it or get the images deleted? Is a person who makes a recording a controller for GDPR purposes?

This is a quick session with lots to pack in: I will tackle all of these issues and more, and there’s an optional Q+A session that you can book if you want to ask questions.
