How to write a privacy notice

There are lots of boring texts in the world. Washing machine instruction manuals, safety instructions for the use of household solvents and of course, the ‘Fifty Shades’ trilogy. But what could be more soul-meltingly dull than a privacy notice? After all, it’s only the way in which regular folk get to find out what organisations are doing with the most important and potentially compromising data about them. Why would you communicate how you’re going to use information about a person’s health, finances and children in anything other than a long-winded, fatuous and mind-numbing fashion?

My friends, there is another way. You can write short, surprising and useful privacy notices, and nobody will stop you. In this video, I will take you on a journey into talking to people like human beings.

Or you could let ChatGPT do it and accelerate the decline of our species. Your choice.
